A Trumpet Has Sounded: A Dream about Aotearoa, New Zealand

by Moana Tipa

Dream Given October 28th, 2018

I woke up in the dream, driving alongside an immense, dry river bed. Huge water worn rocks were the only evidence of a once powerful river. Hills to the right of the river bed were deeply eroded resembling those of the biblical land of Israel. The vehicle I was driving was an open sports car designed for the highway we were on. My daughter was in the passenger seat beside me. We were on a newly sealed and lined highway in Northland, New Zealand. A freshly painted centre line was visible at the nose of the car.

In the skies a little way ahead, thunderous blue-black clouds boiled. A long, mid-range trumpet sound rang out. Immediately, a wide flat landscape opened up. A number of semi-circular bridges were positioned at intervals in the landscape. The bridges were moulded from an opaque, pale gold, enduring Kauri-gum-like resin. Some of the bridges had rows of fluted (frill like) architectural adornments moulded into the structure.

A white, semi-transparent spirit mimicking the human form appeared and entered the highway from the right-hand side. It was focused intently on hauling an open trolley of variously sized boulders to block the highway. The instant the spirit set its right foot onto the highway its foot broke under its own weight. The spirit and the trolley were immediately disabled. We waited while it dragged itself and its cargo of boulders off the left-hand side of the highway.

The dream ended.

Interpretation

The dream begins by waking within it. God is alerting and re-setting His servants to the Father’s original purpose and destiny in the nation. The dry river bed speaks of ancient foundations being restored. The open sports car represents greater presence and movement of Holy Spirit in ministries. My daughter beside me indicates the unity of generations working together in the body of Christ. The highway is the Kingdom foundation, established in 1814 re-sealed, and marked with Heaven’s measuring line (Zechariah 2:1). As Isaiah says in Isaiah 58:11-12: “The LORD will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. Those from among you shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.”

Rangihoua Bay in Northland is the place the gospel was first preached by Samuel Marsden in 1814. The thunderous blue-black clouds are a “Breaker Anointing” that Lord has gone before us in re-setting the nation’s Christian foundations (Micah 2:13).

The trumpet alerts the Body of Christ to prophetic acceleration in God’s purposes for the nation. “Blow a trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm on My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming; surely it is near” (Joel 2:1).

The bridges are bridges of covenant between God and the people of the land re-setting the covenantal foundations commenced in 1814 in preparation for a powerful move of the Spirit. The fluted adornments on the bridges speak of extravagant Kingdom architecture not of the earth (there were no rivers or streams in the landscape). Profuse, melodious and enduring praise and worship will activate Holy Spirit within the body of Christ. There will be a profound connection with God’s destiny on the nation and her role within the nations of the earth.

Entering the kingdom highway from the right-hand side, with a trolley of variously weighted boulders, was the spirit of obstruction and interference. The instant the spirit stepped onto the highway its foot was broken and disabled. We watched (interceded) while it dragged itself and the cart of boulders off the left-hand side of the highway.

God is releasing and awakening intercessors across Aotearoa, New Zealand to intercede against the political spirit, the religious spirit, indifference and sleep. “By His breath the heavens are garnished; His hand pierced the [swiftly] fleeing serpent. Yet these are but [a small part of His doings] the outskirts of His ways or the mere fringes of His force, the faintest whisper of His voice! Who dares contemplate or who can understand the thunders of His full, magnificent power?” (Job 26:13-14 AMP).

A trumpet has sounded, the alarm has rung out: Reset the foundations, call the intercessors! It’s time to release the prophetic decrees that are on the Father’s heart.
